SureFire unveils new E2D Defender models

SureFire expands its light series adding two new models into its E2D Defender lineup with the addition of the E2D Defender Tactical and E2D Defender Ultra.

The E2D Tactical is a single output light while the E2D Ultra offers dual output. The lights offer an impressive output of 1,000 lumens via a rugged LED and Total Internal Reflection lens. Both models are activated using a push-button click-type tail-cap.

Constructed from aerospace aluminum with a Type III Mil-Spec hard anodized coating, the lights resist corrosion while adding durability to the overall design. The E2D Defenders deliver a dual-fucntion pocket clip that can be stored bezel up or down inside pockets.

SureFire said the E2D Defender Tactical and Ultra are an ideal everyday-carry light solution due to its defensive features.

“The signature Defender crenulated Strike Bezel offers defensive options should the need arise,” the company said in a press release.

The E2D Defender measures 5.6-inches in total length with a weight tipping scales at 4.2-ounces. The E2D Defender series is available through SureFire with a MSRP of $199.
