The House Judiciary Committee went late into the evening last Friday night, hearing testimony remotely and debating nearly two dozen gun bills on the agenda. As reported previously, most of the legislation consisted of anti-gun bills that have been introduced for years, with a few notable exceptions.
All of the bills were “held for further study,” a procedural move that keeps them alive. At any point in the session, these bills can quickly be revived and brought to the floor for a vote.
