Commonsense gun control is not the Second Amendment.

Laws regulating safety protect us everyday, such as having to wear a seat belt while driving a car or obey traffic signals. How is it that in 2023, you can go to a grocery store, church, shopping mall, high school or elementary school but come home in a body bag.

The only response many elected officials have is to talk about mental health. As massacres continue, the political system’s choice to protect a piece of metal over human lives has to be the biggest error in the history of mankind.

The National Rifle Association has done nothing but create fear and death. This is 2023, not the 1700s. We need universal background checks.
