INDEPENDENCE — Mitchell Cornett of Independence is the Republican candidate for the at-large supervisor seat on the Grayson County Board of Supervisors in the November election.

After winning the party’s nomination at a mass meeting earlier this year, Cornett is challenging incumbent At-Large Supervisor John Fant, an independent seeking a third term.
