You know what they say: “What goes around comes around.” The latest victims of the greedy, anti-American right-wing gun nuts at the Putin-owned National Rifle Association (now better known as the National Russian Association) are the innocent Americans in Lewiston, Maine, who were murdered in mass shootings by a US Army reservist who, of course, is a long-time firearms instructor and fervent fascist NRA member, not to mention completely insane.

Ban assault weapons now, What are these pathetic patriarchal politicians of the GOP waiting for? Another Russian government cash deposit into their Swiss bank accounts? No more excuses. No more “thoughts and prayers.” The corrupt conservative NRA and their low-IQ, racist Republican homicidal hillbilly membership can burn in Hell eternally for all I and most Americans care. Any right-wing politician in 2023 who after everything is still corruptly on the payroll of Vladimir Putin and the NRA needs to go directly to jail now, no trials necessary.

It’s long past time to put the FBI to work in rounding up these terrorist Trump cult members.

Force Israel to dismantle nukes

Dave Walker: “The cowardly and treacherous attack on Israel was completely unprovoked.”

That’s as ahistorical as a statement can be. This latest revolt against Israel’s inhuman treatment of Palestinians is an inevitable result of a 141-year-long Zionist provocation dating to the First Aliyah.

Dave Walker: “…whole [Israeli] families slaughtered in their homes, children and babies beheaded…”

That’s an unverified trope that even the sycophantic Biden administration had to walk back. It’s a racist allusion common to all settler colonial projects, which asserts that racialized peoples are barbarians, or in Walker’s parlance, less than animals.

Dave Walker: “It’s not soldier against soldier but terrorists against women and children.”

The Israeli military is the world’s fourth strongest military, while Palestine doesn’t have an army, and 47.3% of Gazans are children. “Terrorists against women and children,” indeed.

Walker: “The Nazis’ evil brutality is alive and well in Hamas and has again raised its twisted hand against the Jews. Animals don’t act like this.”

Oh. So, it’s Palestinians who, like Germany’s Nazis, have confined 2.2 million people in an open-air prison/ghetto while treating them as pack animals.

Dave Walker: “Hamas’ charter states their goal is the annihilation of the state of Israel and genocide of Jews.” True.

But it’s a moot point because Hamas hasn’t the means to carry it out. And to believe that settler colonialist Israel’s vow to annihilate Hamas isn’t also a pledge to genocide Palestinians generally is to believe anything.

Moreover, the apartheid state of Israel cultivates such resentment. For example, in 2008, the Israeli government created “The Nation-State Law,” which declared Israel a Jewish state and upheld the right to self-determination for Jews. It states, “The actualization of the right to national self-determination in the State of Isreal is unique to the Jewish people,” thereby consecrating Jewish supremacy, systemic inequality, and racism.

Dave Walker: “[Students demonstrating against Israel’s treatment of Palestinians] are the product of woke ideological indoctrination in many of our schools; an unfathomable level of student ignorance…”

Walker understands little about the impasse. And it’s primarily the solidarity with Palestinians that grew out of George Floyd protests fueling those protests, not “wokeism.”

Finally, Israel forfeited its right to exist long ago. As such, it’s time for the world to begin delegitimizing Israel toward its eventual dismantlement, just as it did concerning Apartheid South Africa. We must first force Israel to dismantle its roughly 250 illegal nuclear warheads.
