United States: While Ukraine endured a third relentless night under an ear-splitting cloud of drone warfare, US President Donald Trump erupted on Truth Social, labeling Vladimir Putin as having “gone absolutely CRAZY,” condemning the Kremlin’s staggering aerial onslaught, the largest yet in the war.
Trump’s post coincided with millions of Ukrainians waking to the now-familiar but haunting buzz of hostile drones slicing through the night, punctuated by the booms of anti-aircraft defenses firing into the darkness.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia discharged a torrent of 355 drones alongside nine cruise missiles — a record-shattering barrage in both size and persistence, shaking already fragile morale across the war-torn nation, according to Reuters.
“Something’s not right with him — he’s gone completely mad!” Trump posted, pointing directly at Putin and referencing the previous night’s drone deluge.
“I’ve warned before — he’s not after a sliver of Ukraine. He wants it all. And if he goes through with it, Russia will crumble under the weight of its own ambition.”
Trump didn’t reserve his disapproval for the Kremlin alone. The president turned his ire toward Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy as well, accusing him of fueling conflict with his statements.
“He’s not helping his people with the way he speaks,” Trump wrote. “Every time he opens his mouth, there’s more trouble. I don’t like it. It’s got to stop.”
The Kremlin, confronted with Trump’s stinging words about Putin’s sanity, responded with diplomatic frost. Press secretary Dmitry Peskov claimed Trump and others were simply overwhelmed by emotion in such tense times.
“This moment is packed with emotional overload. People are reacting emotionally — and understandably so,” Peskov noted while still expressing gratitude toward American efforts to spark dialogue.
Ukraine’s air force confirmed that Russian strikes struck five different zones, although specifics were withheld. A teenage boy in Odesa suffered injuries, and structures in Ukraine’s western regions — including homes and industrial facilities — took damage.
Moscow claimed these strikes were precise hits on military positions, a retaliatory strike following what it described as severe Ukrainian assaults on Russian civilians.
Meanwhile, Zelenskiy took to X with veiled defiance, sidestepping Trump’s critiques but stating the global focus seems skewed — leaning more toward conversing with Putin rather than cornering him, as per Reuters.
“Only firm, unrelenting force restrains Russia,” Zelenskiy said, renewing his appeal for harsher sanctions against Moscow.
At Morristown Airport in New Jersey, Trump vented further. “I have no idea what’s going on with him. He’s gone off the deep end. Just look at the bloodshed — it’s unacceptable,” he told reporters.
He hinted that stronger US sanctions might be on the horizon as the situation worsens.
The Ukrainian government confirmed that Russia launched at least 367 airborne weapons in this record-setting assault — the highest volume yet in the conflict. The death toll included 12 civilians, three of them children, from the northern Zhytomyr region.
Though earlier bombings have claimed more lives, this strike stands as the most intensive by sheer scale.
Trump has repeatedly urged both nations to cease hostilities and negotiate peace. But as diplomatic threads unravel and world leaders issue statements, the reality on the ground is worsening. Russia is gaining traction in Ukraine’s eastern corridor, and the chaos deepens with every new drone in the sky.
Ukraine invaded no one. Yet again, Trump blames Zelensky, restricts aid, blocks weapons, halts intel sharing, and echoes Putin’s lies. Tariffs on Europe? Yes. Additional Sanctions on Putin? None.

With fierce firefights breaking out along critical frontlines, drone warfare is now a daily terror both nations wield mercilessly, according to Reuters.
Russia insists its actions are part of a “special military operation” meant to shield itself from NATO influence. Ukraine dismisses that narrative, painting the invasion as a ruthless, baseless grab for power.
