A specially made golden rifle honoring President Donald Trump is raising eyebrows after being showcased at the NRA Annual Meeting on Friday.

The 154th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits is currently being held this week in Atlanta. The convention features over 14 acres of the latest guns and gear, seminars, workshops, and special events. One of the guns on display is a one-of-a-kind golden rifle embedded with Trump’s name that can be broken down to turn into a pistol.

The unique weapon is an ambidextrous nine millimeter Carbine. The rifle takes block magazines and has a quick release barrel. David Wolfe, business developer at New York-based gun manufacturer Just Right Carbines, was manning the booth where the gun was proudly displayed.

Wolfe told the Irish Star that the weapon was inspired by pro-second amendment president Trump. The gun features the numbers 45 and 47, representing his presidencies, with stars around the numbers, as well as the presidential seal.

“He’s very second amendment oriented, and so we are very happy that he is our president again,” Wolfe said. “So we decided to put together a model that people who also like Trump would be inspired to take a look at it and see what we’re doing.”

“The second Amendment is not just about owning a gun to protect yourself from bad people, but it’s actually was designed to be able to protect ourselves from our governments,” he continued.

The elaborate gun is not just unique in it’s golden design but in how diverse it is. The user of the gun can form the gun any way they want, Wolfe said. That includes different grips, different stocks, and a different trigger if you please.

The ambidextrous weapon also allows for you to put the charging handle either on the right side or the left side.

“We also make an American gun from raw material to finished product here in the US and so it’s creating jobs for the people around here,” he added. “It’s something that we take pride in doing and it’s just not to be about money, it’s about exercising a right and trying to educate.”

Trump has consistently emphasized his support for the Second Amendment, framing it as a fundamental right for Americans. During his first presidency, Trump received strong backing from the NRA, which praised his commitment to protecting gun rights.

He has often spoken at NRA events and endorsed their positions. In 2017 at the NRA Convention, he said: “I will never, ever infringe on the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Never ever. We need that. The world is too dangerous.”
