When an ICE agent killed Renee Good earlier this month, we were careful not to refer to the shooting as “murder,” even though politicians and some other news outlets called it that. We felt that “murder” refers to a very specific crime, and it is up to a prosecutor to make that determination. In addition, especially early on, there was some ambiguity about what happened.

In hindsight, it certainly seems as though the agent should be charged with something, especially because he was not in physical danger anymore when he fired the deadly shot. Of course, we also now know that the federal government has no interest in investigating him.

The point is, we believe that journalists have an obligation to choose their words carefully.

And that’s why we went with “Trump’s Gestapo Executes Minnesota Man” when masked federal thugs killed a man in the streets of Minneapolis on Saturday.

There is no other way to put this.

The video below has just been linked to an article by the Minnesota @StarTribune and it shows at least six masked agents wrestling a man to the ground before shooting him multiple times in Minneapolis this morning.

Everything about it is deeply disturbing.

It starts with the fact that these agents are so poorly trained that six of them can’t subdue a single individual and seem more intent on inflicting violence than anything else.

And they do this knowing that they are being recorded. Why? Because they know that there will be no consequence for anything they are doing. That’s why they are like the Gestapo of the Third Reich, which could terrorize Germany’s population with impunity.

If there is no accountability, then this is going to keep happening. In fact, if there is no accountability, then the inevitable conclusion is that someone wants this to keep happening.

Next is the government’s response.

Once again, they blamed the victim, this time for being armed with a gun.

Here is the thing, though: According to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara, he is a lawful gun owner with a permit to carry.

And, not surprisingly, all those “Second Amendment above all” Republicans and the National Rifle Association have nothing to say when a gun owner is actually killed by a tyrannical government. They have lost all credibility.

Next, the government seemingly tried to hush this up.

O’Hara said that he was initially told that the local cops were told that they weren’t needed to secure the crime scene and could leave.

Why? So, the federal goons on the scene could cover their tracks. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a long and well-documented history of lying about these types of incidents and should not be given the benefit of the doubt. You can read about one of the most prominent examples here.

In addition, a video taken of the victim moments before he was repeatedly shot clearly shows that the DHS narrative is a lie.

Most troubling, of course, is that the government thugs killed a 37-year-old Minnesota resident in cold blood.

We leave you with the words of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey.

“To everyone listening, stand with Minneapolis. Stand up for America,” he said. “Recognize that your children will ask you what side you were on. Your grandchildren will ask you what you did to act to prevent this from happening again.”

It is the same question we ask now: Which side are you on when Trump’s Gestapo is executing people in the streets of America?
